Job Description

SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced, organized, discreet, and versatile individual for an hybrid House Manager-Housekeeper-Cook position to oversee the daily operation of a smaller-scale luxury residence and provide comprehensive support to the principal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Household Organization & Daily Support

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of a luxury private residence.
- Coordinate seasonal maintenance and preventative care programs.
- Oversee all household maintenance and repair projects and supervise contractors and service providers including landscaping, water feature and spa maintenance, window cleaning, mechanical systems, and other property services.
- Complete household errands and purchases as required.
- Maintain adequate supplies of everyday household products and necessities.
- Promptly report maintenance issues or situations requiring attention.
- Assist with household routines, identifying needs and proactively offering support.

Administration

- Collaborate closely with the Executive Assistant on scheduling, residence priorities, projects, and administrative tasks as required.
- Liaise with extended family members as needed.
- Submit invoices for payment to Executive Assistant.
- Complete monthly receipts reconciliations and maintain accurate expense records.
- Anticipate the principal’s needs and provide discreet and efficient service.




- Run personal errands and provide day-to-day support to the principal.
- Be available to drive the principal to and from local meetings or appointments.
- Help with online and gift purchases.
- Assist with personal projects, including organizing photographs, photo albums and other belongings.

Housekeeping & Residence Operations

- Perform housekeeping duties with exceptional attention to detail (e.g. dusting, vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, organizing).
- Keep living spaces clean, tidy, welcoming, and well organized.
- Maintain bathrooms, the kitchen, and other areas used daily.
- Pay particular attention to materials, surfaces, furniture, and objects requiring specialized care.
- Keep closets and storage areas tidy and organized.
- Identify household supply needs and ensure items are replenished.
- Manage household laundry and garment care (washing, folding, and ironing) wardrobe management, and household organization as required.
- Pay particular attention to delicate fabrics and garments and items that need dry-cleaning.
- Make beds and change linens as required, selecting appropriate bedding to suit the season.
- Maintain vehicles are in impeccable condition, including fueling, coordinating servicing, repairs, car cleaning and detailing.
- Care for and water indoor plants and replenish as needed.



Create attractive floral arrangements using a combination of purchased flowers and fresh blooms from the garden.
- Regularly review and organize cupboards, identifying unwanted items for donation to maintain an orderly and clutter-free home.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the barbecue, ensuring it is kept clean and ready for use.

Travel

- Assist with principal’s packing for corporate and personal travel.
- Assist with unpacking and reorganizing belongings following trips.
- Confirm that Apple AirTags are placed in the appropriate luggage prior to travel.
- Ensure clothing and other required items are properly prepared and ready for travel.

Cooking & Meal Preparation

- Prepare healthy meal menu options for the week.
- Prepare fresh, organic, diverse, balanced, and healthy meals according to the principal’s tastes and preferences, ready to be cooked or reheated by the principal.
- Grocery shop with an emphasis on organic, fresh, high-quality products, ensuring the kitchen is properly provisioned.
- Keep refrigerators, pantries, and food storage areas clean, organized, and stocked.
- Maintain clean, tidy, and well-organized kitchen drawers and cupboards, including cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots, pans, and other kitchen essentials.
- Monitor food freshness and ensure proper product rotation.
- Manage waste, recycling and composting systems.

This is not a Private Chef position. We are primarily seeking an “excellent” home cook who can consistently prepare high-quality, healthy meals.
