This is a responsible shift work (primarily evenings and weekends) in the area of being responsible for the maintenance and care of the facility including the ice surfaces, dressing rooms, common area, Zamboni room, and community centre including all tools and equipment owned by Belfast Recreation Centre.
Examples of Duties:
- Responsible for ice making operations, resurfacing and removal of ice;
- General ice maintenance throughout the season;
- Cleaning of equipment areas and minor maintenance of resurfacing equipment;
- Conduct the regular cleaning and general maintenance of the facility;
Requirements:
- Possess a valid Driver's License;
- Experience and knowledge in the protected operation of equipment- Zamboni, Ice Maintenance Equipment, Various tools;
- Deal with all users, tenants and public in a polite and effective manner
