As a regular part-time Food Service Worker I with Island Health, you will perform wide-ranging Food Services Operations duties. The position includes portioning and serving meals, preparing beverages and toast, and washing produce. Patient and staff safety, quality, and continuous improvement are shared responsibilities throughout this work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portion and serve meals in hospital food services
- Wash and peel vegetables and fruit
- Prepare tea, coffee, and toast items

Requirements:

- Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
- Food Safe Level 1 certificate
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to deal effectively with others
