As a Heavy Duty On Road Journeyman Mechanic, you will maintain and repair engines, transmissions, driveline components, braking systems, and electrical systems. Big Rig Power operates as G.A.P. Big Rig Power Inc., providing big rig repair services and advanced products for diesel trucks and equipment. The work requires independent mechanical capability, technical interpretation, and careful documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment
- Repair engines, transmissions, drivelines, brakes, and electrical systems
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled vehicle maintenance




- Conduct road calls as needed
- Complete service reports and documentation

Requirements:

- Valid Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent
- Relevant on-road heavy-duty mechanic experience
- Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Ability to interpret manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic reports
- Valid driver's license and commitment to workplace safety
