The Psychiatric Outpatient/Visiting Specialist Clinic Coordinator manages daily program operations within the Psychiatry Department. This role coordinates care teams, psychiatrists, specialist visits, patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Administrative responsibilities include referrals, scheduling, supplies, reports, staff mentoring, and department protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize psychiatric outpatient program operations
- Schedule psychiatric outreach clinics throughout the region
- Coordinate specialist visits, care teams, and patients
- Receive, prioritize,
and forward referrals and reports
- Train staff and support department protocols
Requirements:
- Secondary diploma or equivalent
- Post-secondary management or office administration courses
- Microsoft Office, Medi-Tech EMR, NOVARI, and telehealth experience
- Statistical analysis and reporting experience
- WHMIS, CPI, and Ontario accessibility knowledge
