Lead summer camp operations for the Town of Ajax through staff supervision, activity planning, and safe off-site trip coordination.

The Program Supervisor, Camps oversees an assigned camp within Recreation & Culture. You will organize activities, support evaluations, complete administration, and lead four to seven counsellors and volunteers. The position also contributes to staff training and performance evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and administer the assigned summer camp
- Plan, organize, and lead camp activities
- Coordinate off-site swimming and skating trips safely
- Complete attendance, payroll, evaluations, and incident reports
- Lead counsellors and volunteers during assigned shifts

Requirements:

- Minimum Grade 11 education or equivalent combination
- Two years’ camp or recreation leadership experience
- Solid organization, planning, and time management skills
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR C certification
- Availability for the full eight-week summer camp period
