As a Casual Patient Registration Clerk, you will complete admissions documentation and gather eligibility information. You will explain forms, process payments, and support hospital communications. The role also includes switchboard duties, patient transport arrangements, and visitor assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interview patients and obtain personal information and eligibility proof
- Explain admission forms, policies, and room differentials
- Receive payments, issue receipts, and record valuables
- Provide directions, answer inquiries, and perform switchboard duties
- Monitor alarms and announce fire alarms when required

Requirements:

- Grade 12 education
- Medical Terminology Certificate or medical terminology knowledge
- Two years’ recent related experience or equivalent preparation
- Typing test of 45 or more words per minute
- Availability for casual on-call work and rotating shifts
