The Accounting Specialist supports invoice processing, payment transactions, vendor records, and related accounting operations. You will review coding, approvals, and documentation while maintaining accurate accounts payable records. The position also contributes to reconciliations, general ledger entries, close activities, reporting, and audits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process vendor invoices accurately and within required timelines
- Review coding, approvals, and supporting invoice documentation
- Prepare electronic payments, cheque runs, and payment transactions
- Maintain current and accurate vendor records




- Respond professionally to vendor inquiries and payment issues

Requirements:

- Minimum two years in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting support
- Knowledge of accounting principles, controls, reconciliations, and general ledger entries
- Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
- Solid organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills
- Post-secondary Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related education preferred
