As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide customized support according to care plans and client needs. Your work includes personal care, activities of daily living, companionship, household management, and community activities. You will also document conditions and report changes promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cleaning, cooking, laundry, and household management
- Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities
- Administer personal care according to care plan directives
- Assist clients with activities of daily living
- Observe, document, and report client condition changes
Requirements:
- Complete accredited caregiver training or equivalent education and experience
- Know caregiving principles and customer service
- Communicate effectively in spoken and written English
- Lift 23 kilograms and assist with repositioning
- Provide transportation and Vulnerable Sector Check documentation
