Registered Practical Nurses provide resident-centred care at Cogir Senior Living, using clinical knowledge, communication, and compassion to support older adults.

This nursing position delivers planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed care according to provincial standards. RPNs work within multidisciplinary teams, communicate with residents, families, and colleagues, and help maintain personalized care quality. The role includes evaluating care plans, documenting assessments, and guiding unregulated care providers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide planned, patient-oriented, goal-directed nursing care
- Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and teams
- Implement and evaluate care plans
- Complete accurate clinical assessments, care plans, and documentation




- Teach, delegate, direct, coach, and mentor unregulated care providers

Requirements:

- Current provincial registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
- Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge
- Robust written, oral communication, and critical thinking skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
