Prepare therapeutic meals and support resident dining as a part time Dietary Aide and Relief Cook in Greater Napanee, Ontario. Use commercial kitchen equipment safely.

At the County of Lennox and Addington’s John M. Parrott Centre, this position supports dietary services in a 168 bed long term care home. You will prepare menu items, portion meals, and follow recipes, production sheets, therapeutic diets, and departmental procedures. The work includes resident service, sanitation, nourishment preparation, and staff direction when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare menu items according to recipes, menus, and therapeutic diets
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely during food preparation
- Portion and serve correct meals to residents and guests




- Follow HACCP, sanitation, and dietary compliance standards
- Direct and train dietary staff when supervisors are absent

Requirements:

- Current Secure Food Handler Certificate
- Previous cooking experience is required
- Food Service Worker certificate or approved enrollment pathway
- Ability to follow English verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand throughout shifts
