Deliver oxygen therapy and ventilatory support as a Clinical Respiratory Consultant with Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada in Ontario. Use evidence-based respiratory care.
This full time consultant provides direct services to clients while collaborating with referring physicians, care teams, and funding agencies. The position supports sleep apnea treatments, home oxygen services, and patient safety through assessments, treatment plans, equipment support, and follow-up. It also contributes to service growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct full respiratory assessments and evaluate diagnostic test results
- Develop respiratory treatment plans with clients and physicians
- Deliver equipment, supplies, oxygen therapy, and ventilatory support
- Assess home environments, equipment safety,
and treatment effectiveness
- Provide PAP initiation, education, cleaning instruction, and follow-up
Requirements:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist licensed by the provincial governing body
- Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
- Valid driver’s license and clear vulnerable persons check
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Availability for rotational after-hours on-call scheduling
