Lead health sciences learning design at North Campus Edmonton using instructional design expertise, eLearning development, and pedagogical consultation. This in-person appointment supports the Learning Design Studio.

As Senior Learning Designer & Consultant, you will serve as the studio’s lead instructional designer and learning consultant. You will partner with clinicians, researchers, and subject matter experts to create medical education resources. The appointment initially lasts three years, with possible renewal.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design eLearning courses, interactive content, websites, and instructional resources
- Advise on educational technologies, curriculum design, ethics, and content planning
- Consult with faculty and clinicians during project discovery
- Oversee project scope, deliverables, timelines,



budgets, and risks
- Coordinate workflows for visual communications and industrial designers

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or educational technology
- At least five years’ educational or instructional design experience
- Course design and development experience required
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional methodologies
- Advanced proficiency with Articulate 360 and LMS platforms
