Drive accurate financial reporting at Bertone Developments in Montreal through advanced Excel, reconciliations, and hands-on corporate accounting. Manage multiple entities and priorities daily.
The Corporate Accountant manages day-to-day accounting for assigned corporate entities and holding companies. This position supports month-end and year-end close, financial statements, general ledgers, and intercompany transactions. It also provides financial information and analysis to the broader finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain general ledgers and supporting schedules
- Reconcile intercompany transactions and shareholder loans
- Support budgeting,
forecasting, and cash flow analysis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA designation or CPA candidacy considered an asset
- Three to five years of progressive accounting experience
- Robust financial reporting and reconciliation knowledge
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency; Yardi experience an asset
