Perform specialized ultrasound procedures at Antigonish Memorial Regional Hospital as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within Nova Scotia Health’s Eastern Zone.

Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide patient care and technical activities supporting department operations. The position focuses on routine and specialized ultrasound procedures, applying appropriate techniques and procedures. Travel to other sites may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine ultrasound procedures in Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform specialized ultrasound procedures using proper techniques
- Provide patient care during diagnostic imaging activities
- Complete technical activities supporting department functioning
- Travel to other sites when required

Requirements:

- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound school
- Nova Scotia NSRMIRT licensure
- Current CPR Certification
- Comprehend technical language and review relevant manuals
- Previous experience is an asset
