As a Pharmacy Assistant II, you will support Sobeys’ national pharmacy team across banners including Safeway, Thrifty Foods, and Lawtons Drugs. Your work will include prescription assembly, customer transactions, refill requests, and clinical-service scheduling. Attention to detail, multitasking, and independent work are significant for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete prescription assembly and accurate data entry
- Process customer transactions and release prescriptions
- Record refill requests and delivery information
- Perform compounding and pill pack assembly
- File prescriptions and replenish pharmacy supplies
Requirements:
- Preferred Pharmacy Assistant Diploma from recognized post-secondary institute
- Previous pharmacy experience considered an asset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Ability to follow applicable company standards
