Provide compassionate patient care as a Registered Practical Nurse on CGMH’s Medical team through permanent full time 12-hour shifts. Use broad clinical skills with diverse patients.

This Registered Practical Nurse position reports to the Manager, Inpatient Units & Allied Health. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The work includes supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative approaches. You will also support patients and families while collaborating with an interprofessional team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Apply supportive, therapeutic, palliative, and rehabilitative approaches
- Provide care and support to patients and families
- Collaborate with interprofessional teams
- Deliver safe, coordinated, high-quality patient care

Requirements:

- Registration with the College of Nurses as an RPN
- Coronary Care 1 certification preferred
- One year of applicable nursing experience preferred
- Experience using Meditech Expanse preferred
- Ability to work permanent full-time 12-hour shifts
