Reporting to the Resident Care Manager, the Licensed Practical Nurse manages daily care delivery while inspiring and empowering the team. The position applies the nursing process through individualized assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Care reflects Covenant Care’s mission, vision, values, and ethical traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day delivery of resident care
- Motivate and empower the care team
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
- Address changing resident needs through ongoing nursing processes
- Support residents, families, and visitors during end-of-life journeys

Requirements:

- Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
- Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta registration
- Current CPR, First Aid, or equivalent certification
- Strong critical assessment and active listening skills
- Knowledge of continuing care and difficult behaviors
