Serve Muskoka patients as a Community Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse, using assessment skills and care planning during scheduled visits.

ParaMed offers community nursing roles for Registered Nurses and Registered Practical Nurses in various settings. Care for patients of all ages and differing complexity while helping them remain comfortable at home. Part-time, casual, and full-time scheduling is available, with new graduates welcome. Mentorship, peer nurse support, supervisors, and real-time support are provided.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess individualized patient needs using appropriate tools and techniques
- Execute and continuously monitor individualized care plans
- Build rapport and trust through collaborative patient engagement




- Maintain and update skilled patient encounter records
- Provide required after-hours on-call coverage for patient safety

Requirements:

- Hold good-standing CNO registration as an RN or RPN
- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Travel to patient residences within a designated area
- Demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and community commitment
- Community care experience is an asset
