Operate in S&C; Electric Canada’s finishing function, using surface preparation and coating skills on the day shift. Support production for reliable electrical-grid equipment.

As a Finishing Operator, you will perform repetitive production tasks within predetermined time constraints. The work includes chipping, hand cleaning, tagging, loading, unloading, Aquaban application, route selection, and paint-colour selection. You will record production data and maintain an orderly workstation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Chip parts before loading them into production
- Clean and prepare surfaces by hand
- Load tagged parts and unload related jobs
- Apply Aquaban coating when required
- Record data and maintain clean work areas

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of cranes, walkies, and pneumatic grinders
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
