About The Role.

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our team in Florenceville, New Brunswick. In this role, you will provide direct leadership for all production functions within either Pizza Pocket or Dessert Processing and Packaging operations. You will lead a production shift by driving safety, quality, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and operational results while ensuring production targets are achieved and regulatory requirements are met.

What You'll Be Doing.

- Foster a safe work environment and drive continuous improvement toward world-class safety performance.
- Promote a culture of accountability, engagement, and performance while developing team capability and talent.
- Lead the achievement of plant objectives across Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, and Environment (SQCDPE).
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives through Managing Daily Improvement (MDI) and Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, quality assurance, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan, implement, and monitor production activities to meet production schedules and volume targets.
- Lead and support production teams through effective communication, coaching, and problem‑solving.
- Foster strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies, and community partners.




- Support change management initiatives and drive operational excellence across the facility.
- Ensure production resources are effectively utilized to achieve plant performance objectives.

What You'll Need To Be Successful.

- High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a continuous food processing environment; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience within plant operations, preferably in a continuous food manufacturing environment.
- Post‑secondary diploma or degree in Food Science, Business, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and lead teams effectively.
- Proven organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience working in a Lean Manufacturing environment with practical application of lean tools and methodologies.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications, databases, email, and presentation software.
- Ability to lead change, influence others, and thrive in a fast‑paced team environment.




- Willingness and capability to take on progressively broader leadership responsibilities within the organization.
- Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

About The Team.

The Shift Supervisor is a key member of the Florenceville manufacturing leadership team and provides direct leadership to production employees within Pizza Pocket or Dessert Processing and Packaging operations. The role works closely with plant leadership, quality, maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement teams to deliver operational excellence while supporting employee engagement, development, and plant performance goals.
