Build financial analysis skills with CAPREIT while supporting mortgage accounting, treasury exposure, and quarterly reporting in a hybrid co-op placement.

This Financial Analyst Co-op Student role supports CAPREIT’s Finance & Accounting team. You will gain practical experience for your CPA while learning about real estate through mortgage portfolio accounting, financial reporting, and lender communications. The position also provides exposure to mortgage financing and treasury.

Key Responsibilities:

- Book month-end journal entries for CAPREIT’s mortgage portfolio
- Support quarterly reporting sections related to mortgage payable
- Complete bank account reconciliations
- Analyze monthly Forecast and Actual variances




- Coordinate lender underwriting and provide required property documents

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related program
- One to two years accounting or finance experience
- Real estate experience or knowledge preferred
- Robust time management, multitasking, and organization skills
- Advanced MS Office knowledge; SAP experience preferred
