ABOUT THE ROLE
The Corporate Controller leads the day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting function, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting across the organization. This role owns the monthly and quarterly close process and maintains a strong internal control setting in compliance with SOX. The Controller also manages and develops a team of accounting professionals, driving process improvement and operational efficiency.




WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DOFinancial Reporting & ControlsPrepare and review monthly and quarterly Corporate Reporting packages, ensuring accuracy and responding to follow-up queries within tight turnaround times.
Prepare and review complex journal entries, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts and lead sheets, ensuring timely identification and resolution of variances.
Oversight over Banking, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
Internal Controls & ComplianceLead the annual SOX audit, including control walkthroughs.
Manage periodic internal and external audit requests.
Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies and procedures to ensure SOX and internal control compliance.
Team LeadershipLead and manage day-to-day operations of the corporate accounting team, ensuring deliverables are met within deadlines.
Coach, monitor, and evaluate direct reports' performance, driving improvements in process efficiency and effectiveness.
