Lead open-source embedded software development at QNX through C/C++ expertise, RTOS engineering, and a 50/50 hybrid technical-leadership model. As an Embedded Development Manager, you will shape open-source technology within QNX’s safety-critical, high-reliability platform. You will combine hands-on development with team leadership across porting, integration, upstream collaboration, and embedded systems engineering. The work supports QNX technology used in automotive, robotics, medical devices, and other industries.

Key Responsibilities

Port and optimize open-source projects for QNX RTOS Design integration layers, build systems,



and CI/CD workflows Integrate open-source software with QNX subsystems Upstream QNX-relevant changes and collaborate with communities Lead, mentor, and provide technical direction to engineers

Requirements:

Significant progressive embedded software experience Technical leadership and software engineering mentorship experience Robust C/C++ and hands-on RTOS development skills Understanding of hardware architectures and cross-compilation toolchains Experience developing device drivers Apply embedded C/C++, RTOS, open-source, and leadership expertise to advance QNX platform development.
