As a Staff Software Engineer on the Equipment Monitoring team, you will process data from asset gateways, sensors, and beacons. Your work supports real-time locations, geofence events, trips, and alerts. You will build cloud services while collaborating with Embedded, firmware, IoT, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Build observable, reliable, scalable telemetry backend services
- Design Kafka and Flink stream-processing pipelines
- Maintain scalable APIs for internal and external applications
- Collaborate on device data contracts and feature delivery
- Improve code quality and reduce technical debt

Requirements:

- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Five or more years of software development experience
- Distributed systems and event-driven pipeline experience
- Up-to-date programming language experience; Ruby, Golang, Kotlin, or Java valued
- AWS, database, IoT, or geospatial systems experience
