Lead financial strategy with Neskonlith Indian Band in Chase, BC, using budgeting, reporting, and regulatory compliance expertise. This is full time work.

The Chief Financial Officer leads overall financial management for Neskonlith Indian Band. The position oversees financial statements, forecasting, cash flow, investments, and compliance. It provides financial advice to Chief and Council while supervising the finance team and supporting transparent decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop financial strategies aligned with Band objectives
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors




- Provide strategic financial advice to Chief and Council

Requirements:

- Recognized accounting designation such as CPA, CA, CMA, or CGA
- Minimum five years senior financial management experience
- Knowledge of Indian Act and Financial Transparency Act
- Financial planning, analysis, and reporting experience
- Leadership, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
