Business Systems Analyst, Capital Markets

Procom is recruiting on behalf of a banking client for a six-month contract role, with the possibility of extension. The hybrid position requires three days per week onsite at the client’s Toronto office.

Responsibilities

- Drive Derivatives and FX Services strategy through delivery governance and control execution.
- Lead business and operational change initiatives from scoping through implementation.
- Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, budgets, and stakeholder alignment.
- Deliver operational improvements and support business and operational readiness through communications, training, process updates, and transition planning.
- Identify, escape,



and remediate control gaps and risk issues; apply risk management and regulatory compliance practices.

Requirements

- Eight years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Solid capital markets product, operations, and market infrastructure knowledge.
- Knowledge of derivatives, FX, money market, and transaction lifecycle processes.
- Ability to build partnerships across Front Office, Operations, Technology, and Risk.
- Focus on risk management, controls, regulatory compliance, and data quality.

Nice to have

- Data analytics and data mining experience.
- Hands-on experience with Copilot or similar AI tools.

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (hybrid; three days onsite per week)

Term: Six-month contract, with possible extension
