CBC/Radio-Canada seeks a Reporter-Editor for French Services in Winnipeg. You will pitch, research, write, and present stories for local and national broadcast programs. Reporting across editorial platforms requires interviewing, critical thinking, and knowledge of Manitoba and Franco-Manitoban affairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- File live and taped reports for Winnipeg newscasts
- Pitch and research news stories for broadcast
- Write and present local and national stories
- Report across editorial platforms as needed
- Work with varied teams on multiple projects
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent
- Three years of directly related broadcasting experience
- Excellent reporting, interviewing, and live reporting skills
- Bilingual English and French communication abilities
- Knowledge of Manitoba and Franco-Manitoban community issues
