Kent seeks a Senior Process Engineer with 12+ years of experience supporting studies, design development, detailed engineering, and construction support. You will prepare process deliverables, coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces, and provide practical solutions for safe, reliable projects. The position requires APEGA registration and solid technical communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review process engineering deliverables
- Develop simulations, balances, flow diagrams, and instrumentation diagrams
- Perform equipment sizing, hydraulics, utilities, and relief calculations
- Participate in HAZOP and process safety reviews
- Mentor engineers and support construction, commissioning, and startup
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or process engineering
- Professional Engineer registration with APEGA
- 12+ years of relevant process engineering experience
- Proficiency with Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent
- Knowledge of codes, standards, utilities, and relief systems
