Build IREN’s operating documentation system as a Data Center Technical Writer, combining structured authoring with field-verified procedures. This hybrid remote role requires regular travel.

Podtech Data Centers Inc. seeks a Technical Writer supporting IREN’s Datacenter Operations organization across Canada and the United States. You will own how technical content is captured, structured, verified, published, and maintained. The role covers SOP, MOP, EOP, readiness, commissioning, and handover documentation. Engineers and site teams remain technical authorities and approve content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Establish templates, style guides, variables, reuse, and publishing outputs
- Author global SOP, MOP, and EOP documentation with subject matter experts
- Write readiness procedures, acceptance criteria, checklists, and handover documents
- Verify procedures with technicians,



record failures, revise, and retest
- Maintain current, site-facing procedure libraries and review schedules

Requirements:

- Diploma or degree in technical communication, engineering, or related field
- Five-plus years writing technically in industrial, engineering, or data center environments
- Experience building documentation systems from the ground up
- Proficiency with structured authoring, MadCap Flare, Paligo, Office, and SharePoint
- Willingness to travel regularly to IREN sites in Canada and the United States
