About the Role

Our client, a respected IT solutions provider operating across various sectors, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cybersecurity Consultant to join their advisory services team in Kimberley, Northern Cape . This role demands a strategic and client-facing professional who can provide expert guidance on cybersecurity strategy, risk management, compliance, and security program development. You will engage with clients to understand their unique challenges, assess their security posture, and design tailored solutions to mitigate risks and enhance their resilience against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, risk analyses, and maturity evaluations for clients.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, roadmaps, and frameworks tailored to client needs.
- Advise clients on security best practices, regulatory compliance (e.g., POPIA, GDPR), and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Assist clients in developing and maturing their security programs, including policy development, incident response planning, and security awareness initiatives.
- Provide expert guidance on security technologies, architecture, and implementation.
- Manage client relationships and projects, ensuring successful delivery of consulting engagements.
- Stay informed about current and emerging cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.




- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations to client stakeholders.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the development of the consulting practice.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Business, or a related field.
- Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant experience in a consulting or advisory role.
- Proven track record in conducting security assessments, risk management, and developing security strategies.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, compliance regulations, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of various security domains, including network security, application security, cloud security, and data protection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional client-facing, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team workplace.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
