Role

Execute cybersecurity risk assessments of third parties providing products or services to TD. Review evidence, evaluate controls, document deficiencies and conclusions, and support ongoing, backlog, and remediation assessment work.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct end-to-end third-party cybersecurity assessments using established procedures.
- Review evidence such as SOC reports, security policies, and certifications to assess control effectiveness.
- Request further evidence and work with third parties and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding items.
- Document control deficiencies, observations, and evidence-based conclusions in audit-ready records.




- Manage assessments to established timelines and elevate delays or significant control concerns.

Qualifications

- 10+ years of cybersecurity experience and experience in risk assessment or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity control areas including IAM, vulnerability management, security operations, incident response, data protection, cloud security, and resilience.
- Experience reviewing cybersecurity evidence and familiarity with SOC 1/SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST.
- Strong analytical judgment, documentation, communication, and assessment‑management skills.
- Post‑secondary education preferred. CISSP or another relevant information security certification is an asset.
