Build full-stack customer management software at Capital One Canada in Toronto, using advanced development, technical design, and architecture skills.

This senior technical, manager-equivalent position has no direct reports. You will develop international Card capabilities while helping transition decision-making from accounts to customers. The work includes JavaScript, Java, Angular/TypeScript, Python, React, Go, AWS, databases, RESTful APIs, microservices, and containers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own technical design and development for fault-tolerant application systems
- Use full-stack programming languages, databases, and AWS services
- Improve developer experience, frameworks, and internal engineering tools
- Establish code review standards and engineering best practices




- Provide architecture ownership, technical support, and associate mentorship

Requirements:

- Build both user-facing front-end and server-side back-end applications
- At least eight years of hands-on development experience
- At least eight years in application or data design
- Experience with AWS or other cloud products
- Experience mentoring associates and guiding technical stakeholders
