Lead AI platform engineering and Kubernetes architecture at Equinix, building a global service for managed solutions and enterprise availability.

As Director, Product Software Architecture and Engineering, you will build and lead a recent DevOps team. You will define technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for Equinix’s AI and Container Management Service. The work includes product partnership, automation, platform governance, and integration with global systems. You will guide service scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define the AI and Container Management Service technical roadmap
- Lead Kubernetes or OpenShift architecture and DevOps processes
- Drive provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle automation
- Establish SLOs, operational standards,



and platform governance
- Build and lead a global engineering and DevOps organization

Requirements:

- Director-level experience managing managers and software services
- Experience leading DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering teams
- Strong operational experience providing highly available global services
- Experience delivering Kubernetes or OpenShift infrastructure at scale
- 15+ years in software development leadership; Bachelor’s preferred
