Advance investment data governance at HOOPP through SQL, metadata management, and data quality validation. Work with Finance and technology stakeholders across investment data.

Reporting to the Director, Investment Data Governance, this analyst supports governance activities across HOOPP’s investment data space. The work includes data dictionaries, catalogs, metadata, lineage, access management, and governance tools. You will support investment applications and develop understanding of HOOPP products, strategies, and investment instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop data quality checks and reconciliations within governance tools
- Maintain data dictionaries, catalogs, metadata, and governance applications
- Monitor tool health, access restrictions, and job completions daily
- Support controls, exceptions, remediation,



and quarterly access reviews
- Create investment data flows, lineage diagrams, and operational documentation

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, information, analytics, or financial services
- Three or more years implementing governance, analytics, or quality tools
- Intermediate SQL and advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of metadata, lineage, classification, quality, and governance technology
- Financial services experience and Canadian Securities Course completion preferred
