Build blasting trade experience with Dyno Nobel across Recent Brunswick and parts of the Maritimes. Use communication and organization to support safe site operations.

This full-time Blasting Apprentice position develops skills across drilling and blasting activities. You will learn under a blaster in charge while participating in blast design, hazard assessments, and safety meetings. The work supports local blasting operations for Dyno Nobel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform blast site duties under a blaster’s supervision
- Measure, load, stem, and hook up blast holes
- Assist with blast design and drill pattern layouts
- Assess hazards and help secure blast sites
- Maintain product inventory and equipment operating condition

Requirements:

- High school completion preferred
- Training or experience in related fields
- Willingness to enroll with Apprenticeship Nova Scotia
- Basic computer skills for blasting logs and online training
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25 kilograms
