Manage Azure and on-premises SQL Server environments as an Intermediate Database Administrator in Toronto, working fully onsite five days weekly. Lead database migration and performance optimization across connected business systems.

This three-month contract requires experienced, senior-level DBA expertise across Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, and Salesforce CRM. You will oversee database administration, cloud migration, backup strategies, security configurations, reporting, and application integrations. The work supports finance, development, and IT collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer Microsoft SQL Server across on-premises and Azure environments
- Plan and execute on-premises database migrations to Azure
- Optimize performance, capacity, installations, and database maintenance
- Implement backups,



disaster recovery, monitoring, and security baselines
- Support reporting tools, applications, and third-party SaaS integrations

Requirements:

- Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server DBA experience across on-premises and Azure
- Proven experience migrating on-premises databases to cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on Microsoft Dynamics Outstanding Plains administration experience
- Hands-on Salesforce CRM management and support experience
- SQL Report Builder and Microsoft stack integration experience
