About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new chemical processes.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret process data under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support troubleshooting efforts and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
- Conduct literature reviews and research on relevant chemical engineering topics.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members through virtual communication channels.




- Learn and apply principles of sustainable chemical engineering.
- Contribute to safety assessments and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Perform basic calculations and modeling tasks as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote work.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Interest in sustainable technologies is highly desirable.
- Must be legally eligible to work in South Africa.
