Lead accounting operations in Vancouver with CPA expertise, managing AP, AR, payroll, and financial controls for a Canadian financial services group.

Reporting to the Controller, this manager leads approximately eight to ten employees across transactional accounting functions. The role oversees accurate processing, develops people, strengthens controls, and supports financing and leasing operations. It requires broad accounting experience and hands-on leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead AP, AR, payroll, and accounting support teams
- Approve financing payments, refunds, payroll, commissions, and advantages
- Oversee intercompany billings and compensation financial statement accuracy
- Prepare working papers for external year-end auditors
- Coach employees and implement accounting process improvements

Requirements:

- Mandatory CPA designation
- Five or more years of accounting experience
- At least two years managing and developing teams
- Experience overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and financial controls
- Knowledge of ASPE and/or IFRS
