Metaldyne Sintered Forged Products LLC seeks a Controls Technician for automated manufacturing equipment. The work covers PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, motor controls, and industrial networks. You will support CNC mills, conveyors, robots, refining machines, and sintering-related equipment while addressing production needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain electrical, controls, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and networks
- Diagnose machine faults using structured troubleshooting methods
- Connect to machine PLCs to diagnose problems
- Complete scheduled maintenance logs and equipment documentation
Requirements:
- Strong industrial electrical and controls troubleshooting background
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and motor controls
- Ability to read electrical prints, ladder logic, and schematics
- Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems
