IATF 16949 certification readiness leads this full time, in-person QMS Specialist opportunity with Asahi Kasei Battery Separator Canada in Port Colborne.

This new plant start-up role leads development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of the organization’s quality management system. You will administer QMS software, manage controlled documents, coordinate audits, and support alignment with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. The position supports a new lithium battery separator manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead IATF 16949 certification readiness and implementation activities
- Administer QMS software, workflows, templates, and governance processes
- Maintain document lifecycle management and controlled document accuracy
- Coordinate internal, external, customer, and certification audits




- Provide QMS, IATF, and Core Tools training

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, manufacturing, business, or related field
- Five-plus years in manufacturing quality or compliance management
- Experience maintaining IATF 16949-certified management systems required
- Solid analytical, communication, facilitation, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and quality management software
