This experienced Project Accountant bridges accounting and construction teams within an established real estate organization. The work centers on accurate cost allocation, financial governance, quarterly reporting, and variance analysis. Collaboration spans budgeting, development, property management, and accounts payable teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Communicate effectively between accounting and construction teams
- Ensure construction costs are complete and accurately allocated
- Provide stewardship over construction financials
- Generate quarterly executive job cost reporting packages
- Resolve discrepancies and assist with job cost entries

Requirements:

- Five-plus years of project-based accounting experience
- Experience with large projects, ideally GC or REIT environments
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- CPA or PMP designation and Procore or Yardi experience advantageous
