Design high-voltage transmission lines from anywhere in Canada while working hybrid, using PLS-Pole, PLS-Tower, and engineering judgment. Support major infrastructure projects through practical technical solutions.

As a Qualified Engineer, you will work with CIMA+’s Energy & Resources team on transmission projects. Your work includes overhead line design, structures, foundations, documentation, and project controls. You will operate under the T&D; Lines Leadership Team while supporting initiatives across Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design 60kV to 500kV overhead transmission lines
- Design wood, steel, and latticed line structures
- Design transmission line structure foundations
- Prepare drawings, reports, specifications, and test plans
- Provide technical assistance, field reviews, and construction support

Requirements:

- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of transmission project experience
- Professional Engineering registration in Canada
- Proficiency with design, analysis, CAD, and MS Office software
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
