Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira).
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
- Automate test cases where possible using appropriate tools and frameworks.
- Analyze test results and provide transparent, concise reports on software quality and defect trends.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and provide feedback on user stories and acceptance criteria.




- Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in quality assurance and software testing.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) is highly desirable.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
