Support procurement operations at Loblaw Companies Limited through vendor management, data analysis, and category purchasing for Canadian retail divisions.
As an Associate Buyer, you will work with the Sourcing Team, Directors, and Buyers across category procurement activities. Your work will include domestic and offshore sourcing, vendor relationships, RFPs, costing, supply risk, quality, and onboarding. The position supports more than 3,000 stores.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze vendor performance data and prepare presentation materials
- Manage onboarding processes and ensure company standards compliance
- Maintain accurate category and vendor costing system data
- Create new products with Vendor Onboarding and Data Operations
- Resolve availability challenges with cross-functional supply teams
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- At least one year in procurement, supply chain, or merchandising
- Robust organization and prioritization skills
- Financial, business, and retail knowledge
- Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
