Operate steam systems and industrial utilities as a Third Class Power Engineer at Stelco’s Lake Erie facility in Nanticoke, Ontario. Work permanent rotating shifts in a heavy industrial environment.

Reporting to the Area Manager, Operations, this position supports safe production across Stelco’s Nanticoke facility. You will operate low and high pressure steam systems, environmental controls, turbines, pumps, compressors, and water treatment systems. The work also includes gas systems, HVAC equipment, process water analysis, and utility isolations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain low and high pressure steam systems
- Support production units with turbines, pumps, and compressors
- Analyze process water and adjust treatment systems




- Issue confined space entry permits using gas testing equipment
- Provide utility isolations, lockouts, clearances, and protected work permits

Requirements:

- Hold a TSSA Third Class Operating Engineer Certificate
- Bring at least two years of industrial experience
- Work rotating twelve-hour continental shifts, including nights
- Use required company-issued personal protective equipment
- Hold a valid Ontario G or G2 license and vehicle
