As Supervisor, Underwriting, you will provide functional guidance to Underwriting Operations Leads, Underwriters, and Underwriting Specialists. You will manage teams, develop strategic plans, and support consistent underwriting decisions across product lines. The position focuses on client profitability, growth expectations, and department objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership during change and maintain a supportive work environment
- Develop and monitor unit plans, goals, priorities, and schedules
- Manage expenditure planning within department budget expectations




- Ensure consistent underwriting decisions across all product lines
- Coach, recruit, recognize, and manage team performance

Requirements:

- Five years of successful related insurance or work experience
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, or related discipline
- Robust knowledge of insurance products, processes, and practices
- Experience leading, mentoring, coaching, and developing staff
- English required; French is an asset
