About the Role
Langstaff Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in Fillware and comfortable working independently in a busy community pharmacy. Responsibilities
• Assist with prescription processing, data entry, and preparation.
• Manage prescription billing, insurance adjudication, and claim rejections.
• Handle inventory management, medication ordering, and stock control.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Support pharmacists in maintaining an efficient dispensary workflow. Required Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of Canadian community pharmacy experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Fillware (or similar) pharmacy software experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced workplace.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
