Principal duties of the FA or General Accountant - 3 weeks: Our client is a global and international healthcare company, biotech firms, and academic institutions to acquire, license, and introduce new and established therapies into the Canadian market. They are looking for a General Accountant to join them on 3-week contract. The role is 5 days a week in office located in Oakville.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant or General Accountant for a short-term, three-week assignment with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have strong bookkeeping and financial reporting skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and hands-on experience with SAP Business One.
Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting duties.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities.




Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity.
Utilize Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and reconciliations.
Work within SAP Business One to manage accounting transactions and financial information.
Must Have: Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or General Accountant role.
Solid bookkeeping and general accounting experience.
Strong hands-on experience with SAP Business One is essential.
Above-average Excel skills, including working with formulas, spreadsheets, and financial data.
Some experience with budgeting and forecasting.
Experience preparing financial statements.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
Additional Details
This is a fully in-office position based in Oakville.
Candidates must be available to start on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
The assignment is expected to last three weeks (could go longer)
