Java integration development anchors this full time Software Developer position with Pattison Food Group Ltd. in Langley, BC, supporting information systems across their lifecycle.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Application Support, you will analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop applications. The work includes RESTful services, web services, microservices, and data integration systems. You will also collaborate with Analysts and Business Users to translate specifications into technical designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write, modify, integrate, test, and maintain software code
- Support production systems and resolve identified bugs
- Design interfaces and integration architectures
- Perform field mapping and interface testing
- Prepare technical manuals and support documentation
Requirements:
- Post-secondary computer science or related education
- Three or more years of software development experience
- Strong Java EE application server knowledge, including JBoss
- Experience with JUnit, RESTful services, and microservices patterns
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems
